You may have some slight discomfort as some patients may describes as a “rubber band snap”. You do have the option for numbing (usually for about 30 minutes long) and this does make the procedure more comfortable for you, but plan on being in our office for roughly an hour. After the treatment is done, you will experience that of a “sunburn” like effect, slight swelling and redness for about 2-3 days. However, you may apply ice packs to help and you can definitely wear makeup to help conceal some of the redness.
At Advanced OBGYN-Med Spa, we do recommend a series of at least 3 treatments to achieve optimal results about 4-5 weeks apart with maintenance treatment to follow in the future.
